What Flexible Booking Protection provides\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFlexible Booking Protection gives the purchaser enhanced cancellation rights in addition to Canterbury Tails’ standard cancellation and rescheduling policy.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhen valid protection has been purchased, the purchaser may cancel the protected booking up to \u003cstrong\u003e1 hour before the advertised start time\u003c\/strong\u003e and request a refund of eligible café entry fees.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach Flexible Booking Protection product costs \u003cstrong\u003e£3\u003c\/strong\u003e and provides a maximum refund of \u003cstrong\u003e£60\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCustomers with bookings worth more than £60 may purchase additional protection. Eligible refunds\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFlexible Booking Protection covers eligible café entry fees included within the protected booking, subject to the purchased refund limit.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt does not cover:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Flexible Booking Protection fee\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFood, drinks or refreshments\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMerchandise or retail products\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eGift cards or vouchers\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDelivery or postage charges\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eProcessing, booking or administrative charges\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSeparate bookings placed within another order\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAny other costs incurred by the customer, including travel or accommodation\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFlexible Booking Protection fees remain non-refundable after purchase, including where the booking is cancelled under Canterbury Tails’ standard cancellation policy.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003e4. How to cancel\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe customer must email \u003cstrong\u003e\u003ca href=\"mailto:meow@canterburytails.co.uk\"\u003emeow@canterburytails.co.uk\u003c\/a\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e before the 1.5-hour cancellation deadline and provide:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe name used to place the booking\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe order number\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eConfirmation that they wish to cancel  for a refund, or reschedule the booking using Flexible Booking Protection\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe cancellation request must be received by Canterbury Tails at least \u003cstrong\u003e1 hour before the session’s advertised start time\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe time at which the email is received by Canterbury Tails will determine whether the request was submitted before the deadline.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCustomers should contact us as soon as they know they will be unable to attend.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003e5. Late cancellations and non-attendance\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFlexible Booking Protection does not provide a refund where:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe cancellation request is received less than 1 hour before the session\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe request is received after the session has started\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe customer does not attend and has not contacted Canterbury Tails before the deadline\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe customer contacts Canterbury Tails through a method other than the stated email address and the request is not received in time\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe customer arrives late and is unable to use all or part of the booked session\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBookings that do not meet the protection requirements remain subject to Canterbury Tails’ usual cancellation, rescheduling and no-show policies.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003e6. Rescheduling\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFlexible Booking Protection primarily provides the right to request a refund, but also includes the ability to reschedule the booking last-minute up to one time.  It does not guarantee that a booking can be moved to another date or time - this depends on avaialbility.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCustomers wishing to reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice should use the rescheduling option provided with their booking, subject to availability and any applicable price difference.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhere less than 24 hours’ notice is given, customers using Flexible Booking protection can request a reschedule up to 1 hour before the booking. Canterbury Tails may offer a reschedule instead of a refund at its discretion.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003e7. Partial attendance\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhere only some members of the booked party can no longer attend, the customer may request a refund for the unused eligible entry tickets, provided the request is received before the 1 hour deadline.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAny refund remains subject to the overall cover limit purchased for the booking.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTickets that have already been used, transferred or admitted cannot be refunded.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003e8. Refund processing\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eApproved refunds will be returned to the original payment method only.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRefund processing times can vary depending on the customer’s bank or payment provider.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe amount refunded will not exceed:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe eligible café entry fees actually paid\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe value of the unused eligible entry tickets\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe total protection purchased, calculated at £60 for each Flexible Booking Protection product\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe refund will be limited to whichever of these amounts is lowest.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDiscounts, promotional codes and gift card payments will be reflected when calculating the amount actually paid and eligible for refund.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eUnused protection has no cash value. For example, if two protections have been purchased but eligible entry fees total £90, the maximum refund will be £90 rather than £120.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003e9. Changes made by Canterbury Tails\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf Canterbury Tails cancels a session, customers will be offered the remedies available under our standard booking terms. Customers will not need to use Flexible Booking Protection to receive any refund or alternative offered due to a cancellation made by Canterbury Tails.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll Flexible Booking Protection fees relating to the affected booking will also be refunded where Canterbury Tails cancels the booking and cannot provide the booked service.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003e10. Misuse\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFlexible Booking Protection is intended to provide reasonable flexibility where plans unexpectedly change.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCanterbury Tails reserves the right to refuse a request where there is evidence of fraud, dishonesty, duplicate claims, chargeback abuse or deliberate misuse of the service.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe may also prevent a customer from purchasing Flexible Booking Protection in the future where there is a repeated pattern of misuse.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis does not affect the customer’s statutory rights.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003e11. Nature of the product\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFlexible Booking Protection is an enhanced booking option provided directly by Canterbury Tails.
